 Tykeysha “Ty” Boone serves her community as a published author, speaker, volunteer SCORE Mentor, grants management and research administration consultant, nonprofit programs and development strategist, and capacity cultivator.  With more than 20 years of experience in academic and clinical research, community program planning, and nonprofit management and development, Ty presents a raw, direct, and matter-of-fact approach to nonprofit education while providing new and under-funded organizations with the tools  necessary to increase their program and service capacity. This approach has been instrumental in facilitating consistent funding and organizational sustainability for the numerous organizations, institutions, programs, and projects serviced by Ty.   Ty is a Certified Nonprofit Consultant, and holds formal degrees and training in psychology, public health, and community health education.
